Controlled articular rotations

CARs are an exercise involving slowly moving through a joints total range of motion such that the healthy range of the joint is maximized. This ensures good joint hygiene - resulting in joint fluid exchange, flushing of waste products and increasing nutrient delivery. CARs also build control and resilience by creating deep muscular tension that keeps the joint healthy in all ranges of motion, especially through ranges that are typically more vulnerable.

Controlled articular rotations are a great series of exercises to use as a warm up, or rehabilitation exercise protocol. They prime your joints for healthy sensation and optimal movement.

Controlled Articular rotations are designed to decrease pain and improve mobility in the neck. 3x each direction.

Controlled Articular rotations are designed to decrease pain and improve mobility in the lowback. 3x each direction.

Controlled Articular rotations are designed to decrease pain and improve mobility in the midback. 3x each direction.

Controlled Articular rotations are designed to decrease pain and improve mobility in the hip. 3x each direction.

Controlled Articular rotations are designed to decrease pain and improve mobility in the ankle. 3x each direction.

Controlled Articular rotations are designed to decrease pain and improve mobility in the shoulder blade. 3x each direction.

Controlled Articular rotations are designed to decrease pain and improve mobility in the knee. 3x each direction.
