Hip Mobility

Hip mobility is extrememly important given how much time most of us spend sitting. Hip’s, when they are not moved regularly, lose range of motion. This can lead to aches and pains not only in the hip but also in the joints above and below. Hips are meant to have a large range of motion whereas the knees and lowback are designed to be strong and relatively stable. If the hips lose range of motion then the lowback and knees will compensate and this can sometimes lead to additional pain and injury. By improving hip mobility we are not only decreasing pain in the hip, we are helping with injury prevention to the hip, knee and the lowback.
